My husband likes to blow money and then tell me when it is too late. This past winter he was laid off almost 7 months and I worked hard to pay the bills etc. and still not tap too deeply into our savings. In May he informed me our savings was gone (6k) because he used it to plant corn. We originally discussed pasture and hay, not corn which doesn't grow well here. He has since killed most of it after having it sprayed with herbicide, a hard way to learn your seed was not Round Up ready. So now I have no savings and no corn. I am behind in our loan payment because he still has things to pay for with this corn (like the fee to spray it).
This is how he works. This is why my paycheck is only where I can get at it. I am afraid he is turning into his father who spent their family into the ground. He promised me he wouldn't do this but his actions say otherwise.
