I agree with "M" I think as women we have lost something in our independence, I am not saying that we have to bow down to our husbands but I do think that we can be a bit more giving at times. This does not take away from our independence, it just shows that we are willing to compromise in our relationship to make things run a bit smoother. If this is something that he has a problem with I think you should try to understand, as "M" says there may be underlying issue regarding this particular subject and maybe you should try to find out what that is.

This sounds maybe very old-fashiond but: If your husband really does not like it and cannot be convinced it is a harmless thing ( maybe he knows about cases that started innocent like this and is afraid) than you should not do it. In the end, your husband and your marriage is more important than dancing for a few minutes with others. Ask him why it causes him so much pain, but maybe he just cannot be covinced. Everyone has his issues and if this i his it is better for bth of you to respect it and show with this you care for him mor than anything else.

My wife likes going to clubs with her friends, because of this we get into arguments sometimes. I don’t resent the fact that she goes, it just that she likes to go with her female friends only and sometimes I feel left out. If I go and meet her there she gets upset about, she accuses me of not trusting her. She says that when I am there she can’t have fun, I wonder sometimes if it is because she can’t dance with other guys the way she would if I was not there, I know she dances with others. Why do I let this be a problem for me, should I just let go alone or should I insist that I go along. I like going out with her, whenever I go with my friends it’s just not the same to me. What should I do? Why doesn’t she want to be with me?

Try to reassure your husband that the dancing is innocent by not dancing too close.
