Ok, so we live out of town from all the rest of relatives on both sides. So we are expected to travel in all weather to be there for xmas/T-day. We get pressured from both side when, where are you staying how long. I realize they some of them are just trying to plan dinners etc. But I'm sick of it. My hubby gets HUGE amounts of pressure from his mom. And it even makes him physically sick fir weeks before and after. When we decide not to go on the exact holiday he pretty much blames me and basically holds a grudge the whole time, during the holiday we are home. I'm tired of it. We invited 1 side over for the holidays and nobody came. To far to drive was the response.
I let him take the kids on 1 major holiday and I stayed home for work. Major mistake, it sucked for me. So that won't happen ever again.
