I have a great relationship with my in-laws from my first marriage and we are close friends. I just got married and there is tremendous pressure from my new inlaws to discontinue the relationship with the old ones. What should I do?

I cannot believe that you are even asking such an obvious question. Are there children involved. If there are, keep your ex-in laws to the minimum and just for the sake of the child (birthday, Xmas, etc). If there are not children, there is no reason not to work first with your current in-laws and minimize your socialization with ex-inlaws
